I’m home (Ellie blog)
Hey guys! I’m home. I was SO happy to see mom this morning i was whining and wagging my butt so fast! I didn’t want to eat my medicine so they just gave it to me not in a fun way, but now i’m home! I’m laying on the floor on my blanket mom laid out, resting because I am really tired. Mom took the E-collar off because I wouldn’t lay down with it on, i hate that thing! My leg feels better, but of course I’m on loads of pain meds! I ate 2 little doggy treats, I really didn’t want to but I love them, and I did it for mom. I wouldn’t eat a little food though, or my string cheese (Mom- I know it has the pills in it!). I walk really good with only having my three legs. I can sit too, and hop up in the car by myself even though I wasn’t supposed to. Mom took some pictures of me when I got home, so I will share them with you. Update you later, thanks for the support.
Love Ellie.

Yeah, those e-collars bite the big one! Glad your Mom didn’t make you wear it. Mine didn’t either. I just had to prove to her I wouldn’t chew my stitches. It was hard, but I didn’t.
Feel better soon girlfriend!

Yeah I have to wear it in my kennel though because mom can’t supervise me… 🙁

My mom put that collar on me when i went to bed, and when she woke up this morning and let me out, I had it off, and chewed on! But my stitches were still in tact mom was proud. Still going to be forced to wear the cone of shame for bed though. Can’t take any chances Mom says… dang it 🙁

geesh, the collar is so nasty, isn’t it?? maybe you could try a pair if boy’s boxers, put your tail through the ‘fly’ part… paws crossed for continued healing!!
