Ellie's Life

Ellie and I have been at my moms as of yet. Hoping we can get our own place when i got back to school and get the financial aid in January. Been a rough road this year, hoping this next year will be awesome! I, Ellie, You and everyone deserve it. So weird the weather right now.. It’s 12/18… so a week til Christmas, there is no snow, and it was low 40’s today… in WISCONSIN. ?? Yep, a little confused. Tied ellie out all day, but she barks the whole time, which is weird because at my grandmas she doesn’t. This is more open, my grandmas is in the city more (not like.. with no grass kind of city, ha ha). I just let her in about an hour ago. I don’t even think she cares. She’d rather be in side, or rather me be outside by her 24/7 anyway. Crazy animal.. she’s a dog.. she should do dog things… not be miserable outside on a nice day with her ball, because i’m not there…! Ugh! Here’s Ellie in her costume Pirate Princess! 🙂 She’s doing pretty good. Out of shape, been a wild year, so as soon as it gets normal.. and WARM we’ll get back in shape! We have some issues we have to work on, so I think we’re going back to obedience soon, just hopefully it’s not too stressful, and they can help! After we get the issues fixed, or better, then it’s AGILITTTYYY woooot. She liked it when they had the course displayed at the dog park (before the accident), and did it well, so I’m confident she’ll still do it well three-legged! After all.. less to weave 😛

Will post with her Christmas outfit on, around that time. 🙂

Today after 11 days in a hotel, were going to our car. Hopefully it won’t be more than a couple months, we might be pretty stinky by then! We are going to be approximately number 5 or 6 on the “list” for the lowincome housing soon, and to get from 14 to 6 took two months, so atleast another 2. And then if the application is okay and everything checks out. I know I can’t keep her in a car, but no one will take her, especially since she doesn’t like other dogs trying to play with her, or be by her when she has a toy or food. And she barks at everyone, and growls at the bad apples and is iffy. We need obedience training again, but its 75 dollars. It’ll have to wait. She’s doing good. Keeps trying to itch with that leg, kind of funny but sad at the same time. She does good well great at everything else. Running and taking off at high speeds is a little different cuz her back leg drags a bit I guess you could say. That’s all we have for now. My apologies were not on much.

This is probably the last time we will be posting unless mom can find internet somewhere in town. We have to be out in a week and a half with still no where to go. Afraid to stay in the car only for ellies sake, so im hoping i can tie her up @ my grandmas during the day, and hopefully it wont be to hot for her. Otherwise I don’t know what i’m going to go with her. Trying to find a storage unit, to store my things, so i don’t have to worry about that. Tried talking to my mom again, but she passed me off again so i gave up. It’s too… what’s the word… depressing? To talk to her. So, i wont, since she doesn’t care how I am, or how i’m going to be in a week or 2. The gf who is moving in here, told me i have to get my stuff out of the spare bedroom before this coming weekend. So, i have no where to put it, if i put it in my room, i wont be able to stay in my room. I’m so lost, and feel so alone. This situaiton just sucks, and to think of all the rich people out there who have like three houses… and i will have none.

I’m doing good, but mom isn’t! Mom might have a kidney infection or something (side pains on both sides, but not all the time, and i have to pee ALL the time but not much comes out, and i peed my pant a little @ work, i didn’t have to pee then all of a sudden i had to SO bad..). and we’re getting kicked out of where we live. We have until august 1st to get a place to live. Stinks but atleast this month has 5 fridays which means mom has more money coming in, we’ll make it work I hope. Just wanted to update you guys. Will post pictures soon. Sorry we don’t post much, mom is busy! <3 you all.

Hey guys!

I eat food now. Except I found i love those samples of infina dog food mom got me, and now i wont eat my normal food, cuz it’s not as delicious and sweet potato and turkey, or bison! Yum!!!! Too bad the only place mom found it is in the co-op store, 12 dollars for a little bag, and like 55 for like a 15-20 pound bag. Yikes! Everything is going pretty good. I had a crazy dream one night, where i was whining, and twitching, and my eyes were rolled back in my head, and mom tried to wake me up and i wouldn’t! She even lifted my chin up, and my head just flopped over! It scared her. So far i’m doing good. I still lick my incision sometimes, and the skin below it looks bruised but it’s just black, yet the hair is white. Don’t know whats up with that. I do really well on 3 legs now, i get better everyday, and i can still roll around like a fruit loop. Eventually mom will try swimming, and see if i do that good too! Thanks for the support guys. Hi guys!

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. I got my stitches out on Friday (the ones i didn’t take out myself!) and everything went good. Still wont eat dry dog food unless its mixed with chicken… or something. Drinkin water, went to the Dairyfest parade yesterday and mom was worried about me overheating, so she put an umbrella above me… she was still worried about it though! Not much else going on. Doctor said im in the clear to play and everything, just no swimming til my scabs are healed up! 🙁 I’m getting brushed AND bathed today though, and someone we know named Susanne is getting us some treats and a new collar! Whoo hoo!

Vet thinks I’m soakin mom with my not eating dog food… but i will eat everything else. She figures i’ll eat when im hungry enough, even though i’ve already lost 5 pounds, but also, could that be from my lost leg?
